The Quandary at RUBICON

Should we leave the die uncast,

And stay on this side of the Rubicon?

Enjoy while the merry last,

For this moment, soon shall be gone.

Can we turn back and walk away?

We're traitors either way.

Between cowardice and glory,

The mighty Rubicon lay.

Put your hand in mine and never let go,

For we shall ride to Rome at first light.

We can't lose, this I know;

And we shall make things right.

We shall be traitors no more,

And our own land we shall rule;

Our name will go down in folklore,

History will remember, my dear, it will.
