GALADRIEL


Many a battle has this world seen

Where kingdoms fall and kingdoms rise

To many a battle I have been

I've fought and I've lost each one.


I fight this battle each new day

Like an infinite time loop, over and over again.

But two thousand miles pretty far

And my body and mind are never one. 


I've said my prayers and my stars aligned

Only to be separated by the demarcation line

Now home feels farther more

Yet she's near, for my heart beats for two.


I wish we could hold hands in this virtual world

Where eyes meet only through the screen

Virtual hugs only makes the heart grow fonder

But this is my battle, and I cannot lose.
